1x1 polls
The film, in fact, is a tribute to Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The concept has been drawn from his Musafir though the storyline is totally different.
There are three stories in the film. It is about these three tenants who come to stay at Mullick Bari and each is faced with a different incident. The constant factors are the house, landlady and the broker. The cast, however, keeps changing, Chakraborty divulges while adding that though he is the maindirector, PJ Joseph and Biswajit Mukherjee are the other two directors.
The film, which will commence shooting from end March, has two stories and scripts written by Chakraborty. Ashish Bhowmick has written one story and the script for the remaining one has been written by him and Biswajit Mukherjee, the director quips. Chandan Roychoudhury has composed the music for the film which will be shot entirely in Kolkata. The cast includes Ritwick Chakraborty, Rrishi Kaushik, Kanchan Mullick, Paran Bandopadhyay, Kharaj Mukherjee, Aparajita Ghosh Das, Chandan Sen, Bibhu Bhattacharya and Alokananda Roy. But talks are on to rope in Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Usha Uthup, Pallabi Chatterjee, Locket Chatterjee, Samata Das and Biswajit Chakraborty for the film, signs off Chakraborty.
