Dr Manmohan Singh boasts of an ensemble cast. The political drama, by the same name as the book, is directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and written by Mayank Tewari. Hansal Mehta is the creative producer of the movie.
The movie has been creating a buzz ever since it was announced. It gained further momentum when Anupam Kher, who's playing the role of Singh, revealed his look. Even the BTS (behind-the-scenes) videos of the movie went viral. However, the looks of other characters have also been appreciated. Apart from Kher, there is Akshaye Khanna to look forward to. The actor plays the role of political commentator, Sanjaya Baru.

German actor Suzanne Bernert will be seen as Sonia Gandhi, the former president of Indian National Congress (INC), while Aahana Kumra plays her daughter, Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra and Arjun Mathur will be seen as Rahul Gandhi.

Other noteworthy portrayals involve Vimal Verma as Lalu Prasad Yadav, Anil Rastogi as Shivraj Patil and Avter Saini plays the role of famous BJP politician Lal Krishna Advani.

Ajit Satbhai will be seen as PV Narasimha Rao, former prime minister of India, while Chitragupta Sinha PV Ranga Rao plays the elder son of PV Narasimha Rao.

Divya Seth Shah portrays the character of Mrs. Gursharan Kaur, wife of honorable ex-Prime Minister of India.
