Wandering on the streets of Mumbai, Archie tell us, “There is so much talent here, it’s unbelievable. These children are so creative and make the most amazing music with the least resources. It not only proves that they are talented but also intelligent.”
Archie performed for the street children while he was down here to compose for an album - Pallavi - along with buddy Dhrubajit Gogoi. “I had an interactive session with them. I plan to come down here and do this more often.” Calling this initiative a Drum Clinic, Pena also has some Bollywood plans.
“There is so much to give and take from here. We can add so much to Bollywood. You wait and watch,” he says, trying hard not to reveal much.
But it’s no secret anymore that Shakira is going to croon for a Bollywood flick. “India is a place of beautiful music. The passion is inspiring. Its multi-cultural quality only adds to it all. Yes, I have made some proposals, and when Shakira, JLo, Ricky, Gloria are going to hear about my plans, they are all going to come running down here. I’m going to get them all to Bollywood.”
And which of our actresses is he crazy about? “It has to be the girl with those big green eyes.” Aishwarya Rai? “Yes, that’s her. I’d like her to dance to my music,” says Archie.
