Surekha Sikri was veteran film and TV actor who had earned several accolades owing to her contribution to Indian cinema.
Dia shared a black and white picture of the actress and penned an emotional note which read, ‘There is no one like her. Absolutely no one. What an extraordinary woman. An artist par excellence. Those eyes and that smile �� Her craft will inspire generations of performers. Was lucky to have the chance to witness her magic in person…’

Surekha Sikri passed away on Friday morning at the age of 75, reportedly due to cardiac arrest. The actress, who has been suffering with complications arising from a second brain stroke from the past few days, breathed her last today. Her demise has left the entire TV and film fraternity to a huge shock.
