We should have been intimated and consulted before she was so unceremoniously thrown out of the project."<br /><br /><a href="cms.dll/articleshow?artid=290828" target="_blank">Bedi</a> said that the withdrawal would not make any difference to the making of the Amir Khan starrer film and work was on as per schedule. <br /><br />"We have had no contact or any meeting with Sahara officials regarding The Rising. The film is largely being funded by Manmohan Shetty''s Entertainment One. We understand from Mr Shetty that Sahara was trying to negotiate with him at a larger scale not related to The Rising.<br /><br />Entertainment One is still financing the film and that is what matters to us," Bedi said.<br /><br />The reason of Rai''s ouster was her differences with Bedi over payment of money.
