‘The Kerala Story 2'– Goes Beyond’ trailer: Sparks debate with its alarming message
The makers of ‘Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond’ released its strong and emotional trailer. The film is a sequel to the 2022 movie ‘The Kerala Story’ and brings back one of the most talked-about stories in recent times. This new part takes a deeper look into the characters’ lives, covering events across different states and personal struggles.
Sharing the trailer on social media, the makers wrote, “They targeted our daughters. They broke their trust.
They stole their futures. This time, we do not stay silent. The story goes beyond. Is bar sahenge nahi… ladenge. #TheKeralaStory2GoesBeyond trailer out now. In cinemas on 27th February, 2026.”
The trailer begins with a strong warning that India could turn into an Islamic state within 25 years. The scene then moves to Rajasthan, where a heartbroken Hindu family visits a police station to file a POCSO case, claiming their 16-year-old daughter was forced to change her religion. The parents’ pain and fear set an emotional tone for the story. The focus then shifts to Madhya Pradesh, where a young Hindu woman is tricked into marriage and later made to convert. Her quiet pain and loneliness highlight themes of betrayal and lost trust.
The third part of the story returns to Kerala, where a Muslim man asks his Hindu girlfriend to live with him. When she refuses to change her religion, tension begins to rise. The trailer shows strong confrontations, including a scene where she is asked to give up her faith, reflecting the conflict between identity, religion, and personal freedom.
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, ‘The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond’ tells the emotional story of three Hindu girls — Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha — whose lives change after they fall in love with three Muslim men. Their relationships slowly reveal a planned effort of religious conversion. After the strong response to ‘The Kerala Story’, the sequel aims to go further beyond comfort, silence, and denial. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film is set to release in theatres on February 27, 2026.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
