Shakti Kapoor’s latest film outing, also starring
Poonam Pandey in a leading role, had a quiet release on 26 October 2018. The film revolves around a poor girl and her mother struggling to rise up in life as they are taken advantage of by the men around them until a mysterious stranger comes up with a bizarre proposal.
Despite sharing the box office with several other films, this drama has managed to earn a profit, 20percent of which the director, Jagbir Dahiya has donated to an NGO. Speaking at a press meet, Shakti Kapoor said that people originally perceived that the movie was only about sex, however, realised that its story was more complex than that.
The actor claimed that people who watched the film, even came back to him saying, “It is a very good subject” and that it was “something for the ladies.”
