The hit combo is back!
Ajit has finally decided that he will go back to his friend and favourite director Saran to do his next film, tentatively titled Asal, for Sivaji Productions’ Ram Kumar and his brother Prabhu.
This will be the fourth time they are coming together after Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam. The buzz is that the film, which will be ultimate star���s 49th film, will be the remake of a popular Telugu film.
It is learnt that Harris Jayaraj (who had earlier been signed by Sivaji Productions when Gautham Menon was the director) will be retained. Sources close to the music director has said that he is thrilled to work with the Ajit-Saran combo, which has always come out with peppy songs.
The rest of the star cast and technicians are being firmed up. The shoot of the film will start only after Saran completes his Modi Vilayadu.
