The Disco Dancer is back, and how!

After Kajra re and Bol Bachchan, Rocky Bhai is ready to set the silver screen on fire!
Mithun Chakraborty will be seen shaking a leg in his son, Mahaakshay’s (Mimoh) upcoming Bengali movie Rocky. In the song sequence, Mithun is seen challenging Rocky (character played by Mimoh) to compete with him, reverberating his famous Bengali dialog “marbo ekhane lash porbe shoshane” — from his hit movie MLA Fatakeshto.The duo then break into a duet dance performance.
Choreographed by Mudassar Khan, of Nach le (Bol Bachchan) and Desi beat (Bodyguard) fame, the steps are deliberately made simple so that everyone can imitate it. “Mudassar utilised dance moves that look stylish yet are so easy that everyone can copy them,” said Mimoh in an interview. “The USP of Rocky Bhai is that anybody can be Rocky Bhai,” he added. The title track is composed and sung by Jeet Ganguly, who had recently left B-town abuzz with his scintillating music score for Bipasha Basu starrer, Raaz 3.
This however, is not the first time we have witnessed a father-son duo burn the dance floor — remember Amithabh and Abhiskek’s much hyped and appreciated Kajra re from Bunty Aur Bubli? The jodi later tried to replicate the same electrifying performance in Bol Bachchan’s title track as well. Keeping these in mind, it is needless to say just how much is expected of this particular performance. While movie buffs and critics debate whether this will finally act as Mimoh’s much needed launch pad, all we are looking forward to is yet another entertaining extravaganza by the Disco Dancer, himself.
