‘Taskaree’ actor Emraan Hashmi's flight fails to land in Ahmedabad, heads to Jaipur - Reports

Emraan Hashmi was traveling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad to promote his upcoming web show, ‘Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web’. Reports indicate he flew with Akasa Air, but the flight couldn't land at Ahmedabad airport and was rerouted to Jaipur, where all passengers landed safely.

According to Instant Bollywood, Akasa Air flight QP 1781, a Boeing 737 MAX 8, took off from Mumbai at 8:40 a.m. on January 13, 2026, aiming for a 10:00 a.m. arrival at Ahmedabad Airport. The plane encountered landing issues as it neared Ahmedabad.

Failed landing attempts

Reports suggested that the pilots tried to land twice at Ahmedabad, but both attempts failed, forcing the aircraft to climb back into the air each time. Following these unsuccessful efforts, the crew decided to divert the flight to Jaipur, where it landed safely.
