Tapsee Pannu's held over film benefits from 'Pink'

Shoojit Sircar's 'Pink' has benefitted its heroine Tapsee Pannu in more ways than one. The actress was applauded for her performance in the courtroom drama that released last month. And now, we hear that one of her other films, 'Runningshaadi.com', also produced by Shoojit, after being in cans for over two years, will be released in 2017.
The film also features Amit Sadh opposite her and was shot in 2014.According to trade insiders, the film's post-production was stopped and the film wasn't eventually released because it featured newcomers in the lead and the producers, Shoojit and Ronnie Lahiri weren't keen on running a business risk. Given Tapsee's newfound popularity, the film we hear, will release early next year. When contacted, Ronnie confirmed the news, saying, 'We didn't shelve 'Runningshaadi.com'. Our partners, and Shoojit and I wanted a workable release window. So, we've started the post-production work and we're toying with a few dates. It will release early next year.'
