'Tanvi The Great': Anupam Kher ropes in 'Jawan' action director Sunil Rodrigues for his next directorial

Veteran star Anupam Kher is all set to make his directorial comeback with his upcoming film 'Tanvi The Great'. He ends his 22-year hiatus with this movie and has roped in action director Sunil Rodrigues for the same.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Anupam shared a video of montages of them together and wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT: Delighted and Proud to introduce the #ActionDirector of my directorial film #TanviTheGreat Mr. #SunilRodrigues. Rod, as he is popularly known is one of the most dynamic, scientific and charismatic action men in our industry. He may look tough and overpowering but he is the gentlest person on the set. Sunil Rodrigues also expressed his excitement to collaborate with Anupam Kher and wrote, “Thank you, sir. It was an honour to work with you on this wonderful piece of art you’re directing.”

The veteran actor previously announced that lyricist Kausar Munir and Japanese cinematographer Keiko Nakahara have joined the film, contributing their talents as lyricist and director of photography, respectively.

On the work front, Anupam Kher will be next seen in the upcoming film 'Vijay 69'. Directed by Akshay Roy, the film will depict the journey of an elderly man, portrayed by Anupam Kher, who embarks on a triathlon competition at the age of 69.
