Tanvi Azmi always shows a strong presence on screen, playing loving yet powerful characters. In real life, she is rebellious, though this side of her has been quiet for some time. Her notable role was as Ranveer Singh’s mother in 'Bajirao Mastani'. Recently, she appeared in the web series 'Dil, Dosti, Dilemma' with Anushka Sen in the lead role.

Recently, Indianexpress.com asked Tanvi Azmi if she had been rebellious while growing up. She recalled the moment when it started and said that she was an obedient child, and then something happened. She always had some rebellious blood in her, but it was dormant. However, there came a point when she rebelled, and how! It happened when she got married, and it was a lot. I felt like the whole of Mumbai had erupted because a Brahmin Maharashtrian girl had married a Muslim man, and it was just like the end of the world for many. For her, that was when rebellion began, and it stayed; it just never went away.

Talking about how the digital world has affected kids today, the actress said that she feels a great sense of loss for today’s kids. They can’t have simple conversations; today people have the world in their hands, so how is it that it only becomes about Instagram and social media? Isn’t there more? What happens when it suddenly goes away? Then what are people going to do? As kids, every Sunday they would go and plant trees, clean streets, and do any physical activity, but she doesn't see that now.

Before "Dil, Dosti, Dilemma," Tanvi Azmi had appeared in the show "Maamla Legal Hai." Additionally, she was featured in a Marathi film titled "Ole Aale" earlier this year.
