Tanushree Dutta, who was in the US all this time, is happy to be back in Mumbai at home, with her family. She chats about the festive plans for tomorrow. Says the

actress

, “I have been here since September and it feels good. For Dhanteras, my parents purchase an item - a little bit of gold jewellery, as part of tradition – so they did that. This year, Diwali will be low-key because of the

pandemic

and everything. As a family, we thought we would visit

Kali Bari

, which is the Kali temple. During the day, we will just stay at home and be among ourselves. Maybe I will visit a few friends with al lot of safety precautions. But except for that, it will mostly be very low-key. We will call for some Bengali food and just enjoy that, the few of us.”
'I love

pantua

and

nolen gurer

sandes'

Tansushree, who is a stickler for fitness, has lost weight and looks svelte. She has her outfit plan in place for tomorrow. She says, “I wore a sari for Lakshmi Puja, which was about a week before. For Diwali, I will wear one of those nice outfits that I have tucked away somewhere.”
With mithai being such a big part of the festive fare, does she have any sweet she loves the most? “There’s a Bengali sweet called pantua, I think it’s called kala jamun in Hindi. There is also nolen gurer sandesh, which is prepared in this season only; those are the favourites for me,” she adds.
