The movement kick started off in India after Tanushree Dutta narrated her metoo story accusing Nana Patekar and others for sexually harassing her on the sets of 'Horn OK... please!!! This incident encouraged many other women to come forward and share their metoo stories and the controversies started hitting the headlines one after the another.

However, the actress is now away from everything and has resumed her normal life back in the US.
Tanushree left India after a period of six months and today, the lady took to her instagram account and shared a photo that indicates that the actress is back to her normal life. In the picture we can see Tanushree shopping for some groceries for her house. She wrote, "Buying groceries for home in New Jersey at whole foods! Organic keto diet this month!! Will start my workouts again this week. Jetlags over and getting back to work.Lots of event bookings coming up for the next couple of months here in US.Busy times ahead.Missing India and my parents😌."
Before leaving for the US, Tanushree, in an interview said that it was the longest vacation of her life and the most harrowing one too.
