Tannishtha Chatterjee is satisfied as an actor

' alongside Brett Lee, and she has been known to take up interesting projects and challenging roles, and with all these and her past few films Tannishtha Chatterjee is breaking all stereotypes. Although, there are other actors like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone who are readying for their Hollywood debut and are being praised for their acting prowess internationally as well, the actress doesn't really feel bad about not getting those kind of films. She also goes on to add that she is not insecure of Deepika or Priyanka's success.

Chatterjee is now all set for her next film which has already received critical acclaim at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival. In fact, the actress had already won nominations for the Best Actress category for Brick Lane. She bagged this nomination at the year 2007, at the British Independent Film Awards. However, the actress did not get her due, in terms of appreciation, back home in India.
