Currently, Taapsee is preparing for the release of 'Gandhari', directed by Devashish Makhija. The film promises to present her in a never-seen-before avatar. Taapsee steps into the shoes of a gritty and dynamic character.


Alongside her, the film stars Ishwak Singh in a key role and is slated for release on OTT later this year. Shooting was wrapped up in March, a milestone Taapsee shared with her fans through a series of intriguing Instagram photos. The film's raw and grounded setting is also said to offer something different in the action genre.

A refreshing turn ahead for Taapsee Pannu

After Gandhari, Taapsee’s next move into comedy marks an exciting development in her career. The makers are expected to officially announce the project soon. While the cast and storyline have not yet been disclosed.. The film will allow Taapsee to tap into her lighter, humorous side which is a contrast to her physically demanding roles. Her last comedy outing was 'Khel Khel Mein' in 2024, where she starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, and others Taapsee also played the lead in the SRK starrer comedy drama film 'Dunki' which was directed by the veteran Rajkumar Hirani. The movie received good reviews from the audiences.


Meanwhile, fans continue to wait for updates on 'Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan', her long-delayed film with Pratik Gandhi, which wrapped in 2022 but is yet to see a release.
