Taapsee Pannu recalls a funny incident when she got a call from Rajkumar Hirani for 'Dunki'
Taapsee Pannu was recently seen as Manu in Rajkumar Hirani's latest release, 'Dunki'. Now, the actress revealed that it all began with a rumor that came true.
Recently, Taapsee recalled the incident and said that actually, before Rajkumar Hirani called her, rumors were doing the rounds that she was being considered for the film, and just like the other rumor, she thought this wasn't possible. So she was just happy that, for the first time, there was a good rumor about her.
The actress added that, but then she got a call from Sir. He called her and said that the media had already been saying it, so he thought he might as well call and tell her. Taapsee said that she was shooting for a South Korean film when she received the call, and Rajkumar Hirani told her that he would narrate the story when she came back. This was the only rumor that was good and turned out to be true.
Taapsee Pannu made her Hindi film debut in 2013 with 'Chashme Baddoor'. She is best known for her performances in hit films like 'Pink', 'Naam Shabana', 'Soorma', 'Mulk', 'Manmarziyaan', and 'Thappad'. She has also appeared in films like 'Game Over', 'Badla, 'Saand Ki Aankh', 'Mission Mangal', 'Blurr', and 'Dobaaraa'.
In recent years, the actress was seen in Vinil Mathew's 'Haseen Dillruba', alongside Vikrant Massey and Rashmi Rocket. She also starred in 'Shabaash Mithu', based on the life of Mithali Raj.
