Swaraaj Singh to make Bollywood debut

Theatre actor Swaraaj Singh, who has already found a place for himself when it comes to the world of theatre, has now stepped into the film industry. And, the actor has already played the lead role in director Ambrish Sangal’s upcoming film called Tension Doooor.
“I’ve not only received appreciation for it but have also got an award,” he says and adds that the project paved way for other film offers.“I am currently working on two films, namely, Kejal Kumar’s Love — A Suspense and Vimal Kumar’s Dirty Half,” he says, adding that a highly dramatic, five-minute long scene, which he completed in a single take, makes Love... special for him. “My own act took me by surprise. The entire unit, including the director, complimented me,” he adds. As far as Vimal Kumar’s venture goes, he just says, “It is a very complex role about a father, daughter and his secretary.”
Singh, who has also enacted the complex role of King Oedipus on stage, says, “It’s said that King Oedipus was cursed and whoever would essay his character, would face hurdles and obstacles. If that’s the case, I am surely brave and courageous.”
