Sushmita Sen’s unseen video from United Nations speech prep in 1994 is going viral on the internet

Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe in the year 1994 and an old video of the actress preparing for her United Nations (UN) speech is going viral on the internet. All of 18 years, Sushmita is snapped penning her speech while dressed in a formal blazer. Speaking about her speech the actress shared in the video, “The most important aspect that I am looking forward to is the UN.If that works out fine then just being an active member of the UN is by itself a great job. Because now and for the rest of your life if you want you can be working for it," she said in the video.

Sushmita was the first Indian woman to win the title of Miss Universe. Soon after winning the prestigious pageant, she ventured into films and marked her debut on the big screen with 1996 release ‘Dastak’. Over the years Sushmita has featured in numerous hits like ‘Biwi No 1’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, and ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ to name a few.
Her last big screen outing was ‘Nirbaak’, a Bengali film that released in 2015. Recently Sushmita won a lot of praise for her performance of the lead character in web series ‘Aarya’, she is currently working on its sequel.
