Renée Sen, daughter of renowned actress Sushmita Sen, has been associated with the project as an intern assistant director (AD). Renée recently took to Instagram to share her heartfelt gratitude and experiences from working on the film. Her post included several behind-the-scenes photos, capturing moments from the film’s screening and her time on set.

In one of the pictures, Renée is seen posing happily with director Anand Tiwari, while another photo showcases the film credits, proudly listing her name as an intern AD. Additional shots depict her actively working on the set, including managing scenes with lead actors Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri.

Renée’s caption summarized her journey, stating, “Working on Bad Newz has been nothing short of gratifying... It was as good as going to film school... or maybe better... our wonderful crew has taught me so much, and I’ve made friends for life.” She further expressed her appreciation for the direction team, particularly mentioning @_aman49 and Reshma Shetty for their guidance and support.

'Bad Newz' is a comedy inspired by true events, revolving around a rare case of heteropaternal superfecundation, where a woman, Saloni Bagga (played by Triptii Dimri), discovers she is pregnant with twins fathered by two different men, Akhil Chadha (Vicky Kaushal) and Gurbir Pannu (Ammy Virk). This unusual situation leads to a series of comedic events as the two men compete for Saloni’s affection.
