Mumbai police have debunked the latest theory doing the rounds that
Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian had called the Police Control Room before her death. Quoting a Mumbai police official, ANI tweeted, “The last call from Disha Salian's phone was made to her friend Ankita. The claims that she tried to dial 100 the last time, is false.” Disha Salian passed away on June 8 in Mumbai and several reports link her death to Sushant’s untimely demise on June 14.
The police had previously recorded the statement of Disha’s friend living abroad, who she had called that night. “Two work-related deals had not gone in her favour. In fact, one of the deals was taken away from her and handed over to a colleague. Her friend tried to console her and also spoke to others at the party, telling them to look after Salian,” a senior officer had previously informed Timesofindia.com.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise is being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMs) is expected to handover the viscera report of the late actor to the CBI next week. Apart from this, the
Narcotics Control Bureau
has been probing a drugs angle and had arrested
Rhea Chakraborty and Showik in connection to this matter. The Chakraborty siblings are yet to apply for bail in
the High Court
. The Enforcement Directorate is also a part of this investigation, as they are looking into the financial irregularities pointed out by Sushant's father.
