Sushant Singh Rajput's family immerse his ashes in holy Ganga river

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide on June 14, shocked the nation. The much adored actor passed away at the age of 34 at his

Bandra

residence. He hailed from Patna and the actor’s family performed the last rites on June 15 and today his ashes were immersed the holy Ganga river. Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, who recently arrived from US, had shared on social media, “I, again, want to ask all to pray for him and send him off with all the fond memories and unconditional love in your hearts. Let's celebrate his life and give him a very loving and happy farewell.”



The much adored actor was reportedly battling depression and the Mumbai police have also launched a probe. Mukesh Chhabra, the director of Sushant Singh Rajput’s unreleased last film ‘

’, had recorded his statement with the police and shared that he knew the '

Raabta

' actor professionally and that the last time they spoke was when Sushant had called him on his birthday.



Sushant Singh Rajput’s rumoured lady love Rhea Chakraborty was also snapped outside Bandra police station, where she will be recording her statement. The police have reportedly recorded statements of 10 people including Sushant Singh Rajput's family members, his doctor, manager, house help and friends.
