Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-teammate Samuel Haokip claims that the actor had sleepless nights after he was accused in the MeToo movement

Many big Bollywood celebrities were called out for sexual harassment during the MeToo movement in the industry. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also accused of sexually harassing his ‘Dil Bechara’ co-star Sanjana Sanghi by an anonymous person. His teammate Samuel Haokip recently revealed that the actor used to have sleepless nights then.

Talking to a news portal about the same, Samuel reportedly said that Sushant had moved in with the actor’s team to the Pali Hill flat and that all the discussions to salvage Sushant’s damaged reputation were together in the team.He added that the team was also discussing the legal recourse after the allegations came out.

Elaborating further, he reportedly claimed that Sushant was majorly affected by the allegations. According to him, Sanjana had left for the United States and did not pick up the phone when they contacted her the first day. He also added that had the actress responded to the allegations sooner than she did, the damage would have been less.
He also went on to say that Sushant had a huge following on social media and the actor must have received a lot of comments online and that in such cases, every second can be damaging to one’s reputation.
Sanjana had later clarified that there was no truth to the allegations.
