Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has often spoken about her dating stand-up comedian Russell Peters in the past.
In an interview with the news portal, the actress has opened up about how she and Russell could have continued being really good friends had they not become romantically involved.
The actress revealed that it was a mistake. The actress shared that she genuinely believe that Russell and she were such good friends and they had so much fun together. Sunny feels that all of a sudden they messed up by going out on a date.
Sunny, who is now married to Daniel Webber, revealed that when she met her husband-to-be around the same time that she was dating Russell.
When asked if Daniel actually beat Russell up for making a joke about her, she said with a laugh, 'No, that one was sensationalised a little bit.'
Recently, Sunny's film 'Kennedy' premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. In the movie, she will be seen sharing screen space with Rahul Bhat in a crime thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap. The Indian release date of the film has not been announced yet.
