Right from the word go ‘Gadar 2’ was making a lot of noise and that too for all the right reasons, and then when the movie got released, its box office numbers gained all the headlines. In a recent interview, ‘Gadar 2’ star Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer Deol spoke about how the victory of the movie was a triumph for the whole family.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Rajveer shared that for 22 years he saw his father struggling and working, and then when finally when he landed a film as massive as ‘Gadar 2’ it was a pure moment of joy. The success of the movie not only added stars to Sunny’s chest but is a victory for the entire Deol family.
Rajveer mentioned that people often say that actors have an easy life. They say it because they haven’t seen it from a closer view. It makes Rajveer very angry when people just ignore the hard work of the actor and only see the perks of the job. He said he has seen his father working day and night. He only knows how much family time Sunny had to sacrifice for work. Thus, now that ‘Gadar 2’ has turned into something so big, Sunny deserves all the love, appreciation, and success that is coming his way.
Junior Deol ran short of words to describe the contentment he felt when he heard about the box office numbers of ‘Gadar 2’. He said every time he and the family saw the numbers going up, they would simply laugh and rejoice. They didn’t have words to describe their happiness.
Meanwhile, Rajveer Deol is also following his father’s footsteps. He is set to debut with Avinash S Barjatya’s film ‘Dono’. The film also marks the debut of Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma and it will release on October 5.
