Utkarsh Sharma who played Sunny Deol’s son Jeete in ‘Gadar’ is all grown up now: Pics

Who can forget the patriotic plot and the hit music of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. It’s been 20 years since the film got released and still Sunny Deol continues to be referred to as Tara Singh. The popular actor will be back with Gadar 2 next year and not only Sunny but his onscreen wife and son will also make a comeback. Ameesha Patel as his wife Sakina and Utkarsh Sharma as his son Charanjeet are stilled etched in our hearts.
Utkarsh was around seven when ‘Gadar’ was released. 20 years on, and now he’s already made his Bollywood debut as a lead actor in the 2018 film ‘Genius’. Yes, he’s all grown up now. But, do you know Utkarsh is the son Anil Sharma who directed ‘Gadar’? After appearing as a child artist in his father's films like ‘Apne’ and ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo’, Utkarsh completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Production and Direction from Chapman University USA and Method Non Acting from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

The talented actor also directed a film titled ‘Purpose’ and wrote another one called ‘Still Life’, before making his debut as an adult in ‘Genius’. When Sunny Deol announced ‘Gadar 2’ on October 15 on the day of Dussehra Utkarsh couldn’t hide his excitement as he shared the upcoming film’s poster and a still of himself on Instagram and wrote, "Since Gadar days, you’ve been my inspiration, and as your fan, I could not have been luckier than getting a chance to work alongside you again - this time in the sequel! Happiest b’day to you @iamsunnydeol sir! Iss baar double Gadar macheyenge!"
