Sunny Deol took to Twitter to announce that he had tested
positive
for Covid-19. He assured fans that he was doing fine but has isolated himself and asked those who had come in contact with him recently to get themselves tested.
According to a source, Sunny had undergone a shoulder surgery post Diwali. The doctors had advised him to go somewhere quiet and away from the city given the
ongoing pandemic
and since he has a home in Manali, he'd decided to move there for the duration of his recuperation.
"He was to return to the city yesterday, and had got himself tested before travelling as is mandatory now. It was a routine test but to his surprise, it came back positive, though he was showing no symptoms. The rest of his staff have all tested negative for the virus. The
actor
has now isolated himself and will only return to the Bay after he is cleared," informs the source, saying he is relieved that no one from his family is with him and he hasn't been interacting much to put too many people at risk.
