Sunny Deol remembers Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on Shaheed Diwas

India’s freedom struggle against the Britishers has been one of the most written and most glorious chapters in the history of the world. Many freedom fighters participated in this struggle and their names are etched in the hearts and history of every Indian. On 23th March, veteran film actor Sunny Deol remembered the sacrifices made by freedom fighters as they sentenced to death on this very day back in the year 1931.


Sharing a tweet on his Twitter handle, Sunny Deol wrote , “ Remembering our real heroes & the revolutionary bravehearts #BhagatSingh #SukhdevThapar & #ShivaramRajguru Martyrdom was a price they paid to ensure the freedom of our nation Their ideologies & heroic spirit will inspire generations to come ”

Sunny has a special bond the with the three freedom fighters as back in 2002, Sunny Deol made a film on the life of these three freedom fighters called 23rd March 1931; Shaheed, with Bobby Deol playing the role of Bhagat Singh , Rahul Dev as Sukhdev and Vicky Ahuja as Rajguru.

Sunny Deol is having a resurgence in his career post the success of Gadar 2, he is currently working on Lahore: 1947 with Rajkumar Santoshi, that is produced by Aamir Khan. The film will also see Sunny teaming up with his son Karan as an actor on the big screen for the first time. Karan was launched by Sunny in Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass in 2019.
