Ask Laloo PrasadYadav and he will nod his head in agreement. Shetty was so disturbed after reading reports about the flood situation in Bihar that he picked up the phone and called Laloo���s hotline. The result is that he has ended up sending several of his jetskis, life jackets and 26 boats to rescue drowning and stranded people in the flood-affected areas of Madhepura, Bihar.���I just felt that I had to do something for those guys,��� said Shetty. ���My boys, who are all trained fishermen from Goa, are so charged up and feel so motivated to go and help those people in the flooded areas. They are willing to risk their lives but they are so well-trained, that they will do a great job.��� When he asked Laloohow he might help, Shetty realised that funds were already pouring in fromBollywood, ���but I wanted to do something more hands on���. He said,���My company specialises in boats and sea sports, so I am glad I could puttheir experience to good use here.���Similarly, anotherMumbaiite who runs a disaster management company, Vikash Verma, has sent hislifeguards and disaster management teams out there. His team is assistingofficers to air-lift people ���I am from Bihar and this is the least I coulddo for the people.
