’ actor, Sumeet Vyas, is tying the knot with his ladylove, Ekta Kaul, today. Though the marriage, being held in Jammu, is a traditional ceremony, there is a quirky twist in the wedding invite.

We caught up with Sumeet to find out more about the invitation card and whether it is a reflection of their love story. He shares, “It is a reflection of me, actually. I didn’t want it to be a regular, boring card with a lot of details, but a quirky, yet simple one. Ekta ideated, the designers sent us a few designs and we jointly decided to go ahead with this. Being the writer, I came up with the content.”

With such an unconventional start to the celebrations, can we expect more quirk coming up during the actual ceremony? The actor replies, “It is a very simple wedding with Hindu rituals. In fact, it is as traditional as a traditional wedding can get. The pre-wedding functions include the mehendi and sangeet.”
