Subhash Ghai sends best wishes to Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana'; feels Ranbir Kapoor starrer will put 'Bharat on highest pedestal in world's perspective'

Renowned filmmaker Subhash Ghai extends his best wishes to Ranbir Kapoor and the entire team of 'Ramayana' as the ambitious project commences filming in Mumbai.

Congratulating the producer Namit Malhotra, Ghai wrote, "Finally one producer has done it in mumbai (folded hands emoji). My hearty congratulations to dear Namit Malhotra for launching a hindi megha scale motion picture #RAMAYAN “with his honest desire to showcase the epic tale of Hindu mythology of india to the rest of world internationally Wow. Further sharing his excitement regarding the project, he penned, "Its gonna to put our nation #BHARAT on highest pedestal in world’ s perspectives."

Recently, filming commenced for Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana.' The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita Maa, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Yash as Raavan, amongst others.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the filming of 'Ramayana' commenced in Mumbai on April 2, starting with Gurukul sequences. The report also added that the director and his team are ready to begin shooting at Film City. The initial setup will depict a Gurukul, complemented by a green screen for post-production enhancements. The first schedule will feature child actors portraying the roles of Lord Ram, Laxman, and Bharat.
