Now, the veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai has sparked nostalgia by revisiting his 1999 film 'Taal'. He shared a still from the movie and questioned whether a sequel would work in today’s cinema. Ghai opened up on the bold storytelling choices that made the film different from typical commercial fare.

Today Is a question in my mind." He emphasized how 'Taal' avoided conventional tropes. The film still connects with younger viewers like Gen Z and Alpha generations.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshaye Khanna and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. The plot revolves around the romance between a village girl who is named Mansi and wealthy Manav.
