Subhash Ghai took to his Instagram handle to share a rare throwback photo with the ‘greatest legend of Indian cinema’ Dilip Kumar on his first death anniversary.

In the throwback picture, Ghai is seen reading something from a book while Dilip Kumar is standing opposite him listening to him intently. He captioned the post, ‘My words fail me to pay my tribute to Greatest legend of indian cinema DILIP KUMAR on his death anniversary today. ‘He listened to his director in every scene as a student n perform like a master on the screen. my most beloved actor and person both. Dilip Kumar breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital after suffering from a prolonged illness. He was 98. Dilip Kumar's close friend Faisal Farooqui had broken the news on Twitter. The actor was buried with full state honours at Mumbai's Qabrastan. The iconic actor is survived by his lovely wife Saira Banu.
