NT finds out what else is happening in her life...
NEW AVATAR: "This is for the first time that I am growing my nails, working out for two and a half hours and eating right. I have been able to shed some weight, and I am visiting the parlour every 15 days to groom myself. I know I don't have a petite frame and those conventional good looks, but I do know that I have sharp features. And I wanna make the most of these."WORKING WITH SRK: "Shah Rukh Khan is an amazing star. The scene in which I proposition coach Kabir Khan (SRK) is my favourite and that was actually the scene I had auditioned for. After the shot, Shah Rukh, sipping his coffee came up to me and said 'you are really good'. After that I was in a trance and just couldn't take my eyes off him."THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES: "I always wanted to become an actress. My first film, Khamosh Pani, which was released in 2003 was based on the true events of 1947 partition and was an art movie. My role in the film was also appreciated. After that I did theatre and then Chak De! India came my way. Now I can see my struggle bearing fruits."STRATEGY FOR SURVIVAL: "It isn't easy for a person from a non-filmi background to survive in this dog-eat-dog industry. But your inherent talent leads you to success. And with the experience of having worked in theatre, I know that I will make a mark for myself even though it may take a little time."Hubby dearest: "My husband Mohit Tripathi, who is a film producer, is very supportive. He knows how demanding the profession is and is very understanding. After courting for 10 long years, we decided to marry three years back, so that we could be together in our struggling days. But raising a family is just not a priority at the moment."
