Sriram Raghavan, being a Tamilian, fulfilled his desire to make a Tamil film with "Merry Christmas." However, after directing it in both Hindi and Tamil simultaneously, he found the process to be labor-intensive and mentioned that he wouldn't opt for such dual-language projects in the future.

The Tamil trailer of "Merry Christmas" not only exhibits visual distinctions but also features different character actors compared to the Hindi version. Sriram Raghavan clarified that it's not a mere dubbed version; rather, they reshot the entire movie separately for the Tamil version after completing the Hindi version, ensuring a distinct and authentic experience for the audience.

Sriram Raghavan highlighted the unique challenge of reshooting scenes for the Tamil version of "Merry Christmas." While acknowledging the repetitive nature of recreating scenes with the same camera and lighting, he expressed that the thrill of adventure and discovery was somewhat diminished. Nonetheless, he conveyed his enjoyment in the process, driven by his long-standing desire to create a Tamil movie.

"Merry Christmas" is set to hit cinemas on January 12, creating anticipation for its release.
