The writer for Pathaan, Sridhar Raghavan recently revealed in a candid interview how the pandemic had a big impact on the final script of 'Pathaan'.
The spy action thriller film, which continuously leaves you on the edge of your seat, has already broken several box office records and is expected to become the greatest Bollywood success ever.
Shridhar is ecstatic with how the audience is responding to the film and recently opened up about how the script was completed nearly three years ago, shortly before the pandemic.
He told Indianexpress that the script was 'contemporized' with dialogues referring to what was happening and that it was
Siddharth Anand who suggested the idea of a mutated virus. Shridhar further added that it seemed to be the “right time” to do a film on a virus during the pandemic and the dialogues reflect the time everyone was in. He added that
Shah Rukh gave a lot of terrific inputs for the final script since he is heavily into this genre.
'Pathaan' has caused a rampage at the box office, having grossed Rs 700 crore at the worldwide box office in all formats.
