Irrfan Khan in Rajasthan.
Recently, ‘Lion’ had a special screening in Mumbai which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities and dignitaries. However, Irrfan missed the India special screening of the film and was highly disappointed as he was busy shooting in Rajasthan for his untitled film with Tanuja Chandra.
Meanwhile, Irrfan took the opportunity to wish
Garth Davis. Both had a conversation on the phone discussing over their respective art. Irrfan expressed his regrets of missing the show and how deeply he is moved with the story of ‘Lion’ and desired to see the film soon after its release. Much to his surprise, Garth Davis instantly answered to his regret by announcing a special screening of the film only for Irrfan Khan in Rajasthan where he will continue shooting for couple of weeks more.
Irrfan was overwhelmed with Garth’s gesture and agreed to be a part of the special screening of ‘Lion’ in Rajasthan.
