Sooraj Pancholi undergoes intense training for 'Hawa Singh'

Sooraj Pancholi hasn’t had it easy in

. From having his name dragged in the Jiah Khan case to struggling to get films, the

actor

has often spoken about the problems he has faced in his career. As a star kid, he also has to deal regularly with comments about nepotism. In a recent interview, Sooraj, who is Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab’s son, said that despite what people assumed, it wasn’t easy for anyone to make a name for themselves in the film industry, no matter where they came from. He said that at times, the nepotism tag upset him hugely because people automatically thought that star kids don’t work hard and are given things on a platter.


Sooraj also said that while social media had brought stars closer to fans, it had also brought with it the menace of trolling. The actor said that the online space had become very toxic and people didn’t spare a thought before criticizing anyone.

On the work front, Sooraj was seen in ‘Time To Dance’ recently. The film also starred Isabelle Kaif. He will be seen next in ‘Hawa Singh’, which is based on the legendary boxer Hawa Singh. The actor has been undergoing intense prep for the role, but given that Sooraj has always been fitness conscious, it won’t be very difficult to slip into the character of a boxer.
