Sooraj Pancholi to visit Army camp to train for his role

It’s common to see actors leaving no stone unturned to prep for their roles, especially if the character is a demanding one. The latest to join the ‘prep club’ is apna Sooraj Pancholi. The young actor, who made his debut with ‘Hero’ (2015) opposite Athiya Shetty, will be seen playing an Indian Army soldier in his upcoming project. Directed by Irfan Kamal, the film is yet to be titled. Sooraj is scheduled to start shooting for the movie in October in Kashmir, but before that, he wants to get into the skin of his character. According to a news agency, he is all set to visit an Army base camp in Amritsar in September. The news agency quoted Sooraj as saying that he is excited about meeting India’s asli bravehearts. He also admitted to being nervous, as the jawans are respected and revered by the entire nation. The actor said that he’s proud and honoured to get an opportunity to meet our army men. When asked if he is confident about playing the character, Sooraj said that he just wants to capture the aura of an officer on screen.
