In a recent interview, Nigam revealed how he follows a disciplined routine of an athlete. He is currently in the middle of high-octane 'Satrangi Re India Tour.' Nigam revealed, "On the day of the shows, I don’t meet people or go out, however beautiful the place may be. For people, the show starts at 7 pm, but for me, it starts when I wake up. I start getting ready mentally, practice on my tanpura, and work out for an hour at the gym."
One of the most heartwarming revelations from Nigam is his team ritual. Before stepping on stage, he holds hands with his entire team to thank God and the audience. "Before the concert, I hold hands with my entire team, thank God and the audience as they are the reason that I am here. In my mind, it is a huge circle of people holding hands. I’m a little mad like that"
