Sonnalli Seygall, admired for her fitness, has set a remarkable example during her pregnancy by adopting a holistic fitness approach. Guided by her calisthenics coach, Chetan Raut from EasyHuman, and prenatal expert Mitalee Jain, Founder of Birth With Mi, Sonnalli embraced a program that nurtured her physical strength, flexibility and mental wellbeing.
From the outset, Chetan focused on bodyweight exercises and calisthenics to build a solid foundation of mobility and core strength. “When we started training, the emphasis was on functional movement and a strong core,” shares Chetan. “But once I learned about her pregnancy, we shifted to low-impact exercises tailored to prenatal fitness.” The program was designed to strengthen her core, legs, hips, and lower back, ensuring Sonnalli had the stability and endurance needed for a smooth delivery.Yoga and meditation, already integral to Sonnalli’s lifestyle, became even more essential. “It wasn’t just about physical movement; it was about fostering inner happiness,” Chetan explains. “With her deep connection to her body and mind, the journey was both rewarding and inspiring.”
Mitalee Jain built on Sonnalli’s existing yoga practice with a prenatal program focused on pelvic floor strength and postnatal preparation. “Sonnalli is a certified yoga teacher, so she brought a great level of awareness to the process,” Mitalee notes. The program included pranayama (breathwork) and meditation, which are known to provide immense support during labor and help maintain emotional balance. “Our goal was to enhance her overall fitness while empowering her to embrace this transformative phase with confidence and grace,” Mitalee adds
By combining calisthenics, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, Sonnalli’s fitness journey during pregnancy stands out as a model of holistic well-being. With her coaches’ expertise and her unwavering dedication, she has shown that pregnancy is not just about nurturing the body—it’s about enriching the mind and soul.
Sonnalli Seygall’s story is a reminder that fitness can be a source of strength and joy, no matter the stage of life, inspiring women to approach pregnancy as a journey of empowerment and self-care.
