Sonam Kapoor turns showstopper for friend Pernia Qureshi on her birthday

Sonam Kapoor who celebrates her birthday this week on the 9th , will turn showstopper for close friend Pernia Qureshi, whose standalone show, Amrapali ,coincides with her birthday. Now as Pernia turns designer and launches her very own Summer/Resort festive collection, Sonam despite having big plans for the day is taking time out to walk the ramp as the showstopper in support of her friend's collection". While details of what Sonam will be wearing are yet to be revealed, sources hint at the look being inspired from the film 'Amrapali' with Vyjayanthimala as the Royal Courtesan in the majestic splendor of the ancient empire of Magadha.
