Paris Fashion Week's highly anticipated Spring-Summer 2025 edition is already in full swing, presenting the newest collections from businesses and designers to consumers and the media while laying the groundwork for future trends in clothing. With Bollywood icons Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt already in attendance, Indian celebs have also made their mark. Actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is back at the Paris event now, looking elegant in a stylish black dress.
Sonam showed up at the event dressed in a black outfit from the Cruise 2025 collection of the French luxury fashion brand Christian Dior SE, commonly known as Dior. Sonam wore minimal makeup, yet her style highlighted her eyes with delicate brown tones. During a conversation with Vogue India her makeup artist Namrata Soni said, “It’s a controlled look, which makes it very modern, but at the same time there is a touch of tradition.”
She wore a structured corset, voluminous skirt, and a fitted black trench coat with exquisite flower embroidery embroidered on the shoulders. This ensemble expertly combined elements of Parisian tradition with modern elegance. Her statement combat boots with chain accents finished the ensemble.
Her sister, film producer Rhea Kapoor took to her Instagram and shared a string of pictures of Sonam’s OOTD on Tuesday. It seems that she was the only Indian celebrity in attendance at the event.
Alia Bhatt debuted at Paris Fashion Week for the same brand as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who enthralled the crowd as she walked the runway for L'Oréal Paris wearing a bubble-hem satin gown by Mossi and bright red lipstick. Alia wore a custom couture creation by Gaurav Gupta, featuring a “metal-cast silver breastplate intricately adorned with swan’s head and wings interwoven with the body of a serpent, paired with black flared sharara trousers — a contemporised Indian silhouette.”
