Sonam Kapoor reveals son Vayu’s face on 7th wedding anniversary with Anand Ahuja: ‘Absolutely no one compares to you’
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are celebrating seven years of togetherness today (May 8), and the actress made the occasion extra special by sharing never-seen-before pictures from their wedding. In a heartwarming surprise, Sonam also unveiled the face of their son, Vayu, for the very first time on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Sonam posted a series of stunning wedding memories and penned a romantic note for her husband. She wrote, “Absolutely no one compares to you. The love of my life. Always find me. @anandahuja eternity and beyond. #everydayphenomenal Happy Anniversary.”
The couple, who tied the knot in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony at Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai on May 8, 2018, has largely kept their son away from the public eye. But with Vayu now growing up, Sonam decided to give fans a glimpse of their adorable family.
Earlier this year, on Vayu’s second birthday, the Neerja actress had written a heartfelt note for him, expressing the joy he’s brought into their lives. She shared, “My baby turns two today!!! Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, precious Vayu! Being your mom is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You’ve filled our lives with so much joy, laughter, and wonder. Every day with you is an adventure filled with your boundless curiosity, your infectious laughter, and your sweet, loving nature.”
She added, “You’ve brought so much light and happiness into our world, making every moment more beautiful and every relationship stronger. You’ve deepened the love between your dadaa and me in ways we never imagined, and you’ve brought pure, unfiltered joy to everyone who loves you—your nani and nana, dadi and baba, kaaa masa, masi, Anki chachu, and Harsh mamu. Your sweet spirit and playful energy make our family complete, and we are so blessed to have you in our lives.”
Sonam ended the message with a touching line for her son: “Vayu, you are our sunshine, our music, our little genius, and our endless source of happiness. We love you more than words can say, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will continue to bring into our lives.”
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is all set for her much-awaited return to films after her 2019 release The Zoya Factor. In a statement to News18, she confirmed her comeback, saying, “I’m super excited to face the camera again post my pregnancy. I love being an actor, and I love living so many interesting characters through my profession. Human beings fascinate me, and I love playing varied roles. I’m looking forward to my next.”
She further revealed, “I will return to the sets early next year. Details of this project are currently getting locked, so I won’t be able to talk at length till the announcement is made. It’s a big project. That’s all I can say right now.”
