Sonam Kapoor, who is celebrating her hubby Anand Ahuja's birthday today, took to social media to raise her voice against human trafficking, citing it as a threat to human dignity.
Last seen in 'Sanju', Sonam's post read as "Human trafficking is not only a serious violation of our
human rights, but is a threat to human dignity. Around 20% of all victims are children, making this situation even more grave. We all need to raise our voice to stop this and create a safer world for ourselves."
The 'Neerja' actress is currently associated with several NGO's and believes in using her celebrity status to support causes and giving back to society the love she gets from her fans.
