Sonam Kapoor proudly owns the fashionista tag and more often than not she justifies it with her style statements. Be it a fusion saree or redefining power dressing with a pantsuit, the actress has an envious wardrobe. Recently, Sonam spelled grace and glamour as she posed in a cotton shirt and jumpsuit ensemble. Hair tied in a messy bun and earrings being the only accessory; Sonam Kapoor was all things minimalistic in this click.

And while almost everyone is taking note of her fashion game, the actress opened up about her style inspirations. Speaking to Grazia Sonam said, “I’ve drawn from pop culture – I love Rihanna and
Lady Gaga for their unabashed style, but also Jane Birkin and Grace Kelly for their individuality.”
Interestingly, Sonam has always been surrounded by fashion, “Since I was a kid, I’ve been exposed to fashion, my mother used to be a designer. All the women in my family, including my maasi and nani have possessed very strong aesthetics. I went to boarding school where I was exposed to international fashion, then my sister, Rhea studied in New York where we were surrounded by vintage and thrift stores, so there were many influences. I still remember wearing pedal-pushers, chokers and blazers when I was a teenager, it’s funny how 90s fashion has made a resurgence,” added the actress.
And it is not just about haute couture every time as Sonam also believes in repeating her clothes, she stated, “I repeat my clothes all the time, I don’t really care. I make sure that I’m always investing in classics so that they look good with everything I wear.”
