Sonam Kapoor and Abhijeet indulge in a Twitter war over Shobha De's tweet

Twitter wars between celebs have become a regular thing when it comes to burning issues. Some speak for it while some go against, nonetheless they are seen putting up a nice show for their onlookers.

Recently, Sonam Kapoor was irked by singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who has lent his voice to many chartbusters in the 90s. The singer is quite popular on Twitter for giving his piece of mind every now and then and often landing into trouble for the same.So when Shobha De shared her latest controversial tweet 'Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity', Abhijeet couldn't stop himself from making a comment.
"Unstoppable shameless #' 's .. abusing and cursing their own motherland, own children, own talents," he said. This did not go down well with 'Neerja' star Sonam, who then replied, "You're such a hypocrite." If you think this would end right there then here comes another tweet from Abhijeet, who tried his best to take Sonam down saying, "Yes @sonamakapoor we all r hypocrites bt not the Khandani FILMI type hypocrites nor page3, we r proud of our players." However, Sonam had the final say with her laughing emojis.
