Sonali Bendre Behl opens up about losing hair during cancer treatment

Sonali Bendre Behl battle with cancer has touched a chord with many people. She recently opened up about her experience, where she reportedly touched on the topic of shaving off her hair during the treatment. If you recall, the video of her chopping her lustrous tresses moved many and it went viral.
On a show centred around BFFs, Sonali reportedly chose to go with Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Joshi, where she told Neha Dhupia that it was her hair that landed her a role in her first film K Ravi Shankar's 'Aag' (1994) and 'Hum Saath Saath Hai' (1999).She says that her whole life seemed to have been centered around hair as she had endorsed every hair product.
When it came to shaving her hair, her friends wanted her to keep it and make a wig of it, but she chose to get rid of it as she wanted to let go of the old hair in a symbolic way. She said she wanted to enjoy getting rid of it as much as she loved wearing it.
