The snip even showed Zaheer sitting in that room. Showering her love and respect for her in-laws, she wrote, “Best in-laws in the world. First, he gave me this guy, then soooo much love!!"

The tale of Sonakshi and Zaheer meeting

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal met each other for the first time at a party hosted by Salman Khan in 2013. They felt a spark, and the friendship turned into love eventually. Within a week of meeting him, Sonakshi expressed her feelings to Zaheer, but they kept their relationship away from the spotlight. The couple turned their relationship of eight years into marriage on 23 June in a private ceremony under the Special Marriage Act at Sonakshi’s Mumbai residence. The marriage was even on the same date on which they had met for the first time a decade ago.

Following the intimate marriage, they hosted a reception filled with stars, which was attended by several Bollywood people, including Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rekha, Tabu, Honey Singh, Kajol, Huma Qureshi, and more.
